Multiple OS in VPS Hosting
If you choose to go for one of our virtual private server packages, you shall be able to opt for one of the three Linux distributions that we provide for the OS of the servers - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are among the most well-known and most dependable server OSs on the market and we offer them in order to give you a choice for the software environment of your machine in case that you wish to install some app with specific requirements with regards to the packages that should be present on the hosting server. We also offer three web hosting Control Panels and which one of them you'll be able to use depends on the OS that you've chosen. We leave the chance to replace the server Operating System open, so when you want to use an app that requires an OS different from the one that's already present, we can always re-install the VPS. We can also keep the OS up-to-date on a weekly basis by installing all the security updates which may be available.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Web Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server solutions - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They are all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are totally free so they will not increase the price of your new server, but also because they are outstandingly secure and stable. Each of them is supported by a big community of developers, so you'll be able to choose from many hundreds of software packages that you can install on your server in case the application that you intend to work with has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer run on specific OSs only and since we want to provide you with as much versatility as possible, we offer several OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you choose a server with a given Operating System, we could change it upon request in case it turns out that you need another one. We can also keep the OS updated weekly as a part of our optional Managed Services upgrade.
